Welcome to Bumblebee: The AfroAsian Online Community's newsletter! This site is dedicated to helping African Americans and Asian Americans learn about each other's culture while developing a new American one that combines the best of both worlds.

The theme of this issue is love which is what we all need given the uncertainty of our nation right now. For many the subject of love can seem trivial, but love can ground us, center us, and give us the strength to make the necessary changes we need to make it through this world.

The couple to the right are the Boggs, a couple who helped fight to make change through the Socialisty Party. To read and excerpt from her book about their life together click on the Archived Article section. To learn more about her continuing crusade for equality for people of color click on their picture and it will link you to the James & Grace Lee Boggs Center.

I hope you enjoy this e-zine. Be sure to sign my guestbook at the bottom of the screen or send e-mail to let me know what you think (or to contribute articles or ideas). I'll be updating frequently, so check back often!
